About This Policy Commission
The Education Policy Commission is a newly established intervention within the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) dedicated to fostering innovative, effective educational policies and sustaining economic growth. Its mission is to drive transformative change in education by developing and advocating for progressive policies that enhance access, quality, and inclusivity in Nigeria's education sector.
The overarching objective of the Policy Commission is to facilitate the adoption of the various NES recommendations that relate to improving education and human capital to promote growth and development.
The Education Policy Commission is dedicated to spearheading transformative reforms in the Nigerian education sector and is organised around three core thematic areas, each with a specific focus on reshaping and improving different aspects of education in the country.
