Enabling Enterprise: Success Toolkit for MSME in Nigeria

Mrs. Morounfayo (Fayo) Williams is a seasoned entrepreneur, learning and development specialist, and Managing Consultant at Simply Exponential Consult Ltd. She holds a Master’s degree in Pharmacy and boasts over 30 years of executive experience in business management, training, and consultancy.

She is a Fellow of both the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria and the International Management Consultants Board. She is also a certified SIYB Master Trainer by the International Labour Organization and a GEMS3-trained Women Economic Empowerment facilitator.

Fayo has created several capacity-building programs, including the HERMoneyClinic Loan Access Framework, and was recently appointed Thematic Lead for Capacity Building at the NESG’s MSME Community of Practice. She has facilitated trainings through organizations such as Afrilabs, AFD, World Bank, and ISN Hubs, and served as a coach and mentor for African youth innovation programs, with mentees among top awardees.

She has received multiple grants from prominent organizations including UKAid/DEEPEN, LSETF, USADF, and secured the DAFIM Grant to train over 2,300 women and youths in 2024. She also won the Fate Foundation’s Volunteer of the Year Award (2023).

Fayo has served on high-level panels and groups, including the FIDA Lagos Law Week (2024), the Ministerial Focal Group for the Nigeria Youth Investment Fund (2020), and as a Regional Expert on NDC Financing with GIZ/GreenTec Capital. Her roles in policy influence, public-private partnerships, and capacity building demonstrate her strong commitment to inclusive economic growth and gender empowerment.
