Dr. Tayo Aduloju, the CEO of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), leads Africa’s foremost private sector-led think tank and policy advocacy leader. As a distinguished Nigerian scholar-practitioner, economist, and strategist, he is widely recognized as a Nigerian economic policy expert sought after for his ability to translate complex strategic agendas into measurable results.
In his current role as the NESG Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Aduloju oversees a vast network of national platforms dedicated to national economic transformation in Nigeria. Before his appointment as CEO, he served as the Group's Chief Operating Officer and Senior Fellow for Economic Policy, Strategy, and Competitiveness, as well as the Okun Model Economic Fellow for Africa and the Middle East.
With over two decades of experience, Dr. Aduloju has established himself as a premier economic reform strategist and public policy reform practitioner. His track record includes advising heads of government—including former Presidents Umaru Yar’Adua and Olusegun Obasanjo—and business executives across 14 African countries and the Middle East.
As a public-private dialogue specialist, he has been instrumental in spearheading NESG reform initiatives that stimulate performance, sustainability, and governance across the private, public, and non-profit sectors. His expertise as a macroeconomic strategy leader has been vital in navigating Nigeria's most pressing socio-economic challenges.
A true economic governance expert, Dr. Aduloju holds six academic degrees, including a doctorate in Economic Policy and Public Administration. His post-doctoral career as a sustainable development expert in Nigeria focuses on economic growth diagnostics, multidimensional poverty analysis, and strategic management.
