Dr. Nonny Patricia Ugboma

Dr Nonny Patricia Ugboma is the Executive Director, Policy and Programmes and Chief Summit Officer of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group. She leads the NESG’s dialogue-to-execution agenda, encompassing policy programming, public-private dialogue, Policy Commissions, programme delivery, the Nigerian Economic Summit and the implementation tracking of summit and policy recommendations.

She is a corporate leader, public-value strategist and scholar-practitioner with more than 25 years of experience across finance, telecommunications, corporate social investment, institutional development and public policy. She previously led the MTN Nigeria Foundation as Executive Secretary from January 2009 to March 2021, directing major social investments and multi-stakeholder programmes across Nigeria.

Dr Ugboma holds a PhD in Innovation and Public Policy and a Master of Public Administration with Distinction from University College London, an MSc in International Management from King’s College London, and a BSc in Accounting and Financial Analysis from the University of Warwick. Her work focuses on institutional capability, mission-oriented innovation and the creation of sustainable public value.
