Ms. Amina Maina is an accomplished executive and strategic leader with over 20 years of expertise in the Oil and Gas sector. She excels in business development, problem-solving, and applying emotional intelligence to drive organizational success. With a strong ability to develop new systems and enhance existing structures, she consistently delivers global best practices to achieve long-term strategic goals. Her expertise spans the entire industry value chain, particularly in the downstream sector, with specialization in trading, shipping, storage, and retail. She played a pivotal role in restructuring and expanding MRS Group’s presence across six African countries and Switzerland. Ms. Maina began her career in 1998 with NNPC’s Pipelines and Product Marketing Company (PPMC) and has since held leadership roles at Marc Rich Investments Ltd, Aurora Energy Trading Ltd, Energy Solutions Integrated Services Ltd, and Ovlas Trading S.A. She is currently the Group Chief Operating Officer of MRS Holdings Limited, overseeing marketing, sales, trading, and logistics. An alumna of Harvard Business School, INSEAD, and Ahmadu Bello University, she has also trained at London Business School, CITAC LLP London, and Oxford Princeton College. She is a Fellow of the Energy Institute, the Institute of Management Consultants, and a key member of the Presidential Economic Coordination Council (PECC). Ms. Maina is an Independent Member of the Governing Council of the Midstream and Downstream Gas Infrastructure Fund (MDGIF). In addition, she serves as the Board Chairman of Next Gen Infraco Limited (NGIC) in Ghana and is a board member of several reputable organizations, including MRS Oil Nigeria Plc, MRS Benin, Corlay Cameroon, First Mutual Microfinance Bank, and Maitama Amusement Park, Abuja. Ms. Maina continues to shape the energy landscape and drive economic growth across industries.
