Dr. Augustine Okere has over 10 years experience in development policy analysis, welfare and socio-economic analysis, and international political economy (IPE). He specializes conducting research which intersect the development agendas (e.g. SDGs, African Agenda 2063), socio-economic inclusion and political agency. Augustine has experience as a Senior Lecturer at Nnamdi Azikiwe University and a Research fellow with the Development Studies Association, UK. He is also a Research Associate, with Connected Development (CODE), a Research Fellow, with the African Economic History Network, and a member of the Historical Society of Nigeria (HSN). Augustine is the pioneer-editor of the Journal of International Economic Relations and Development Economics (JIERADE), editorial reviewer of the Beacon Journal, the Journal of Advanced Social Science and Policy, Unizik Journal of Arts and Humanities, and the Journal of Economic Studies. His research and expert views have been featured in numerous peer-reviewed journals, policy briefs, op-eds and international magazines such as Economy Watch and Impakter. He has collaborated with research organizations and institutes such as the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), Key Aid Consulting, the Chronic Poverty Advisory Network, Center for Migration Studies, Ronin International, Gaia, and Savanta.??
